Breakfast and lunch lovers rejoice!  The Hershey Pantry is a cozy diner with an atmosphere as warm and welcoming as its meals. Since opening in 1990, the restaurant has earned a reputation for having the best breakfast in Central Pennsylvania. The lines of guests waiting to get inside prove this to be true. Some of the highlights include the oversized pancakes, giant cinnamon roll, and stuffed French toast.

Hidden Still Spirits has been producing exceptional spirits since 2014. While best known for Bourbon, the distillery and restaurant offers so much more. Since starting in 2014, the growth of the brand has led them to move their total operations into the old Hershey Company recycling facility. The drinks and food are amazing as skilled bartenders and chefs in their scratch kitchen provide the best and finest ingredients.

Fenicci’s of Hershey has been a local favorite for almost 90 years. This Italian restaurant is embedded in the history of the town of Hershey. Their sauces are made from original Italian recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Live music is performed by local artists on Friday and Saturday nights.

Beer lovers can’t visit the area without a stop at Troegs Independent Brewing. What was once a small business located in Harrisburg, Troegs has grown tremendously. The brewery is family-owned and independently operated. Through the use of local ingredients, Troegs has gained a local and global following and is consistently awarded some of the top achievements in beer. Be sure to book a tour prior to visiting!

Tap into the History, Taste, and Thrills of Hershey

It comes as no surprise that the history and story of Hershey are tied to the man who built the town, Milton Hershey. Milton’s vision for creating a town known for and beyond just chocolate has clearly been fulfilled. The town has been thriving for over 100 years and continues to grow daily.

A visit to the Hershey Story Museum is the perfect introduction to learn the history and story of the town that bears Milton’s name. Interactive and informative museum exhibits take you through the life, business ventures, and legacy of the Hershey family and town. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., it’s a must-do. Be sure to experience a flight of Chocolates from around the world before leaving.

Hershey’s Chocolate World is the place to see, smell, touch, and taste everything Hershey’s. Located just outside of Hersheypark, this gigantic attraction has everything from rides to exclusive chocolates and candies, only available by purchasing during a visit. The building is open year-round and free to visit. Some attractions, like the chance to build your own chocolate bar, come with a fee, however.

The Choclatier is a full-service restaurant featuring past and present pieces from the Hersheypark ride collection. Offering one-of-a-kind views and menu items, it’s a great choice for dining, with many of the dishes offering a hint of chocolate. Be sure to try one of the milkshakes, although you may not be able to finish!

The main attraction of Hershey is undoubtedly Hersheypark! Originally created by Milton Hershey as a leisure ground for Hershey employees, this family amusement park is now home to over 15 roller coasters and a water park. Hersheypark has been attracting visitors for years and continues to welcome guests all year long. Be sure to arrive early and prepare to spend an entire day exploring the grounds and enjoying the rides! Thrill seekers will leave well pleased with adrenaline on high!

With its short distance from the Washington, DC/Baltimore area, Hershey is the perfect getaway for families and friends seeking a few days away for thrills, entertainment, and culinary excellence. Consider this your MUST-VISIT location for Summer and beyond.
